It is a house. Specifically, it is the open window of a house. Or even better: the glass where the outside of the open window is reflected. It is the night over the asphalt, the changing traffic light, someone coming back. It is also the distance from which one watches the city becoming a city, and time, a wound. It is even the trace of rain on the glass, a fingerprint. I mean, it is an invitation to look — and to look at everything, even what you might have been avoiding. Open the door and find the room with the harp, the cello, the piano, the double bass, the drums, the synthesizers. This is where the window is. Look: BIANCA STECK has made room for you on the sill.
