Laura Agnusdei is a saxophonist, composer, electronic musician, and improviser. Her solo project explores the possibilities of electroacoustic composition, with the saxophone as the main narrative axis. Her music, released on labels such as The Wormhole, The Tapeworm, and Maple Death Records, blends melody, timbral research, fragmentary song forms, and improvisation, drawing from a wide range of sound sources.

That doesn’t mean they don’t exist, because in Catalonia there are venues that support sonic avant-garde. But Laura Agnusdei’s debut in our country will turn MMVV into an analogy of London’s prestigious Café Oto — a pioneering landmark of experimental music where she has already played. Trained in conservatory and literature, this Italian artist has been exploring instrumental music for years with the saxophone as the main focus. An underground artist at heart, she has a rich discography despite her youth. Her latest work is Flowers Are Blooming in Antarctica (Maple Death Records, 2025), which she will present in Vic. For more context, she has collaborated with Jay Glass Dubs, performed with Valentina Magaletti, and her music has been spun by Optimo, Trevor Jackson, Chuggy from Emotional Rescue, and Floating Points.
