BRAMA

With a sound that blends psychedelic rock, indie, and ritual energy, French band BRAMA turns every concert into a hypnotic experience. The hurdy-gurdy acts like a liturgical organ, while guitar and bass surrender to intense rhythms and a voice full of magnetism. The band invites the audience to a sonic ceremony where tarantella meets a visionary rock’n’roll mass.

Before we spoke, we sang, and before we counted sacks of flour, we performed rituals to expand our consciousness. We've been dancing and listening closely for 200,000 years: we're far more familiar with psychedelia than with doomscrolling.
BRAMA is made up of a bunch of joyful French musicians playing a thirsty kind of music that draws from every source it can find — from the ancestral melodies of their Massif Central and Pakistan, to 1970s German bands like Neu!, and fellow countrymen as mighty as Orchestre Tout Puissant. They channel their thirst through Occitan verses, an electrified hurdy-gurdy, and songs that rinse your brain clean: say goodbye to sleep crust and set the jug on fire!
