KILIKI moves back and forth. Sometimes his songs may seem ironic (both the music and the lyrics), and sometimes it feels like his life depends on what he's doing. Probably because both things can be true — and compatible. If the word generational still means anything, KILIKI is an artist who perfectly represents his generation: he's not moralistic, but he's not amoral either. That’s where his honesty comes from, and it’s exactly the kind of respect he shows his audience: he doesn’t like what he sees, but he’s not here to rant until you see it the same way. He assumes we all already got the memo — that everything is fucked — and so he just tells us how it affects him. His EP ILTZE 1 (Oso Polita, 2025) reflects this: politics, self-destruction, and vulnerability. And a Luis Miguel sample.
