Ouineta is the ultimate popstar. Her project is a total experience drawing from urban culture and pop icons of the late 2000s, challenging her own imagery through a relaxed, ironic gaze. Breaking the rules of conventional pop, Ouineta is the perfect fusion of music, dance, and spectacle, telling us the truth straight up with a wink.
OUINETA is neither the Catalan Ben Yart (although that’s objectively a very funny comparison) nor our BbTrickz, nor even Marta Ros or Ouinaohr. OUINETA is OUINETA, period.
Her music makes you feel like when you’re alone in your room dancing in front of the mirror without a shred of shame. In other words, the best feeling in the world. Seeing her live on stage confirms she feels exactly the same way. Luckily, we’re all invited to her room. She’s the “fairy of truth,” as her Instagram bio says, because she’s the embodiment of absolute freedom.
