Susana Hernández, known artistically as YLIA, is a multifaceted artist: producer, DJ and explorer of sound. She runs the Animah Records label and shines both in her solo work and in her collaborative projects. She has played on stages like MIRA and Mutek in Barcelona, DGTL in Amsterdam and Transmusicales in Rennes, delivering hypnotic, elegant and deeply suggestive sessions. Her work spans multiple disciplines: she composes for dance and theatre, having formed part of Niño de Elche's live band on several tours, handling synthesizers and keyboards. In Ame Agaru (Balmat, 2023), her second and most recent album, she crystallises her free and versatile approach to sound in a record imbued with diffuse melancholy.
