SEDAJAZZ MINSTREL SHOW

THE MINSTREL SHOW is a show that brings together music of the epoch (fundamentally Dixieland themes) with tap dancing, comic-musical gags and even magic. Accompanying them is an initial presentation with video-projection of curious images to illustrate everything that accompanied the Minstrel shows. A jazz group (contrabass, banjo, sax and trumpet or trombone), a singer and a tap dancer make a plea against any type of discrimination; racial, sexual, religious or of socio-economic level. This show also exists in its street version, which is what will be represented in the MMVV '10.
